What is (or would be) your DJ name?
DJ X-STACEY (like ecstasy, get it?)
or xtci, which was the 4-letter-ending-with-an-i name I used back in the cam days on platinumice.net with pixi and juli.
..actually, that doesn't sound as cool now as it did when I was 16/17.
The DJ Name Generator says DJ SnackWell (for stacey) and DJ Boneronymous (for chasethestars)
Because I just loaded my LJ friends page and it's flooded with these, here's mine. The site said that you guys have 12 days to do the questionnaire thingy to make sure these things match me. Modest, assertive, competitive, sociable, and solitary - are these me?
link to my profile. I'm not sure where/how to leave comments though?
(also, I think it's funny that in the preview, it showed Tom's MySpace w/o the Myspace branding hee)

You're The Catcher in the Rye!
by J.D. Salinger
You are surrounded by phonies, and boy are you sick of them! In an
ongoing struggle to search for a land without phonies, you end up running away from
everything, from school to consequences. In this process, you reveal that many people
in your life have suffered torments and all you really want to do is catch them as
they fall. Perhaps using a baseball mitt. Your biggest fans are infamous
psychotics.

You're a Rabbit!
Sure-footed and exceptional at hearing, you have a great number of
physical talents. While you do love carrots, you have an aversion to lettuce that
no one seems to really believe. Looney Tunes have been your favorite cartoons for
as long as you can remember. Though you'd never admit it, you've always wondered
what it would feel like to be thrown into a briar patch. You really like, er,
procreating, even more than most people.

You're Hawaii!
When they first meet you, few people can tell whether you want to say
hello or goodbye. Either way, most of them will end up saying that you're their favorite
person to visit, if only they could afford the trip. But your soft and warm image is
belied by an explosive undercurrent in your personality than can leave you drenched with
tears or boiling with anger for days on end. You are rather fond of using plants as
clothing.

When I was younger, I used to believe in horoscopes. I believe it was
mostly because I thought that was the only interesting thing in the
paper (this is obviously before I became interested in journalism). I
don't believe anymore, but I still think it's fun to look at when it's
there.![]()
Same thing for numerology, though I always thought this was more interesting because it tells you more, and it's based specifically on the digits of your birth date rather than the whole month around your birth date.
There was a QotD recently about your lucky number (or was it favorite number?). I looked up my numerology to see what mine is. I forgot that I'd get multiple numbers. Here are some of the results I ended up with. I want to copy and paste all of it here, but it gets pretty long. I'll have to wait till there's an extended entry feature. In bold is what I believe is true.
Your Life Path Number is 5
The key to your personality is freedom. You love travel, adventure, variety and meeting new people. You possess the curiosity of a cat and long to experience all of life. You love to be involved in several things at the same time as long as you are not tied down to any one area. You like change, new things and new horizons. You make friends easily, your personality is upbeat and often inspiring attracting people from all walks of life. You have a way of words and an uncanny ability to motivate others. You can be in sales, advertising, publicity, promotion, politics or any profession that requires your communication skills and understanding of people. You likely lack discipline and order. You can also be impulsive, doing or expressing things you regret later. Freedom and a need for adventure sometimes is not properly controlled by those born with this Life Path, causing problems with drug abuse, overindulgence in food or sex, or generally abusing the gift of life. You are sensual and love to taste all of life. Sex, food and other sensory experiences are essential to the enjoyment of your life. You find it difficult to commit to one relationship, but once committed you can be as faithful as an old dog. You are multi-talented and possess a variety of diverse abilities. However, discipline and focus are the true keys to your success. Without these many of the tasks you begin will remain unfinished and you will fail to realize the true fruits of your abilities. With hard work and perseverance the sky is the limit. You may have been perceived as a wild child by adults and a source of concern by your family. However, do not be obliged to hurry your choice of career. You are often a late-bloomer and need to experience life before you can truly know and commit to your heart's desire. Your challenge is to learn the true meaning of freedom. Change is constant in your world requiring adaptability and courage. Try to maintain an exercise program, keep your body in shape and limber. The flexibility and durability of your body will promote security and confidence within you. You yearn for freedom and self-employment attracts you powerfully. Your challenge is to settle into one area to cultivate your ability sufficiently to earn a living and attain success. Once you find your niche the motivation and inspiration you supply others will bring you much in return, you will find your friends and colleagues supporting and promoting you on the road to success.
Want to see what your numerology says about your life?
Write about one person a day every day for 365 days.
I found this project via Suki's Vox.
I'm going to do mine with a slight twist. I don't like the set number of words part, though I suppose that helps. I want to write as much or as little as I want about each person.
I'm also not making a list before I start. I'm writing about whoever I feel like writing about on that day because lately, I've found myself thinking about people I haven't thought about in years, people from 4th grade, people I've seen on the bus that don't mean anything to me but has intrigued me enough at some moment that I remember them. Or maybe I'll just have people who want to be on my list comment to this entry, and that'll give me a good amount to start off with ;)
And the last thing I'm going to do differently: in addition to writing these in my LJ (tagged *x365), I'm going to have a copy in my Netflix return envelopes. Or on index cards that I'll leave on park benches or on the bus or a table in a café. I haven't decided yet. Maybe I'll do all, depending on what's available at the moment.
I was also thinking about bringing back my 101 things in 1001 days, or starting a 43 things.. Read about this part in my LJ, to prevent this entry taking up a few screens. Is the extended entry feature coming soon? :)
